Hello and welcome…
I’m Sarah – a Reiki Practitioner working between Ripon and Harrogate in North Yorkshire; and also online for distance healing.
Reiki is a gentle, yet incredibly powerful practice. It can be used to work on a particular problem – be it physical, emotional or spiritual – or it can be used as a method of relaxation (and lovely way to spend an hour).
The great thing about Reiki is that it goes where it is needed, and it will continue its work for several days after your session.
WHAT IS REIKI?
pronounced “ray-kee”
In Japanese, Rei means Universal and Ki means life force energy. Reiki is a hands-on form of energy healing. It creates a state of deep relaxation, in which it begins to alter the flow of energy within the body, allowing a person to heal; mentally, physically and spiritually. Reiki will attempt to heal, balance and harmonise everything it comes into contact with – even things you weren’t aware were out of balance.
HOW CAN REIKI HELP?
Physically
Reiki can help to ease pain, fatigue and tension. It can also help us to connect with, and listen to, what our bodies are trying to tell us. It can also activate the body’s own natural healing abilities.
EMOTIONALLY
Reiki can be a gentle and supportive tool for emotional healing. It can help us to release stored emotions and ease anxiety, as well as helping find inner peace and balance.
Spiritually
Through Reiki, we can learn to accept ourselves fully. It can help us to live an authentic life, and to practice self-forgiveness. It can lead to profound healing and transformation.

Sarah’s treatment room is lovely, peaceful and relaxing, with a comfy couch and music that is tranquil and not intrusive. She has a soft but firm touch (doesn’t make you jump!) and moves around quietly. She explained how she would work before starting and made sure I was ok with that. I was completely relaxed throughout and the feeling stayed with me for some considerable time afterwards. I’ll certainly go again.
